I had the pleasure of dining at Ribs and More recently, a place that markets itself as a haven for lovers of slow-cooked meats and hearty comfort food. While the name might suggest a laser focus on ribs, the experience goes beyond just the meat on your plate. First impressions were off to a strong start thanks to the welcoming service. Our server was not only friendly and attentive but also patient and engaged when taking our order—a rare and appreciated quality, especially in busier establishments. It's always a good sign when hospitality feels genuine rather than rushed. Drinks were the highlight of the start to our meal. I ordered a whiskey sour, and I have to say—it was one of the better versions I’ve had in quite some time. Well-balanced, with just the right blend of tartness and smooth whiskey warmth, it set a great tone for the evening. Now to the main event: the spare ribs. They were decent—not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly not disappointing. The real stars here, however, were the sauces. Ribs and More offers an impressively wide variety of house-made sauces, and they were exceptional. Each one brought something different to the table, and they elevated the meat far beyond its base flavor. For fans of experimenting with pairings and flavors, this alone is worth the visit. On the side, the coleslaw stood out. It was creamy, fresh, and well-seasoned, providing a nice contrast to the richness of the meat. The potato side was a bit less inspiring—just fries. That said, they were quite good as fries go: crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and well-salted. Still, in a place that clearly puts thought into its sauces and cocktails, I couldn’t help but wish for something a touch more creative or unique on that front. TL;DR Great service and cocktails. Ribs were okay, but the sauces were excellent. Loved the creamy coleslaw; fries were decent.

Lovely sauces. Lovely identity crisis. Sides were not that good - coleslaw too saucy, fries too basic - mayo as well. Price - experience not in balance.

Cocktails waren lekker. Prijs is niet een element, maar deze leek mij eerder aan de dure kant van wat we al hebben geprobeerd. Resto ribs was een pak goedkoper voor ribbetjes à volonté bv.

Good Birgit, very mediocre sides. Organisation of the place is weird and people are weird. Waiting time long and veggie burger quite expensive. Would not redo
